LitStep is intentionally simple: choose a book, capture one idea in your own words, and complete one practical step at a time.

I can’t find a book

You never need the catalog to create a challenge. Type the title and author manually, then continue. Book search is supplied by Open Library and requires an internet connection.

Why is the next day locked?

LitStep keeps the challenge sequential so you focus on one action at a time. Complete the current step to unlock the next one. You can reopen a completed step if you tapped it by mistake.

Where is my data?

Your challenges and reflections live only on this iPhone. There is currently no account or cloud sync. Deleting the app deletes its local data.

How do reminders work?

If you enable a daily nudge while creating a challenge, LitStep requests notification permission and schedules local reminders. You can disable permission in iOS Settings → Notifications → LitStep.

Is LitStep really free?

Yes. Version 1.0 has no subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or paid gates.
